Hi, my name is Abi and I left Ludlow School in 2017. I decided to go to Hereford Sixth Form College as I wanted a change from the town I had grown up in and I was keen to make new friends too.
I studied A levels in:
- Business (B)
- History (C)
- English Lit (C)
Students sometimes choose four A levels if they're unsure. They then carry three on in the second year. They are awarded an AS-level qualification in the subject they drop at the end of the first year. Universities award places on a point system, and the AS level will count towards this.
After I finished my A levels I was employed by Holloway’s of Ludlow, a home design company, as a customer services assistant. The company then promoted me to customer services manager.
In the last few months I've been working as an office administrator for the local charity Hands Together. I'm really enjoying every aspect of my new role, particularly knowing that I'm supporting those in need of support.
